I started Sheila Computer Tutor as a business in February 2006. I had help from The Business Link that was invaluable. The Business Link Company referred managers of other small businesses to me so that I could train them in the use of Excel for their business accounts. Since then I have had a diverse range of customers from the absolute beginner to advanced users of Excel and Access.

I have given Front Page training to a member of the Freemasons and am currently involved in helping members of the U3A create presentations in Ashampoo Softmaker Presentations.

To help my customers who do not have Microsoft Office installed on their PCs I have evaluated alternatives such as Open Office and Ashampoo. These are a much cheaper option and in my opinion often suitable tools to use.

I have helped students trying to understand IT and databases as well as companies wanting advice on writing complex formulas in Excel and queries in Access. Ages have ranged from 19 years to 82 years and below is just a sample of testimonials from these people:
